10/10/2007- The awards keep piling up for the Snappers after one of their most successful seasons in franchise history. Rob Delaney was selected by MiLB.com as the Class A Reliever of the Year on Wednesday. Delaney was selected ahead of relievers from both the Midwest League and the South Atlantic League.

Beloit Snappers at Cedar Rapids Kernels (6/25-6/28)

The Snappers' Robert Delaney currently leads the league with 23 saves. Barring a promotion, this puts him well within reach of J.J. Trujillo's Midwest League record of 42 (set in 2000). The Kernels, who finished the season's first half 5 1/2 games behind the Western Division champion Snappers, will do everything in their power to avoid seeing Delaney on the mound.
