Dickey. One report I read said that Fernandez was no better than the 4th or 5th best catching prospect for the M's. The article (see link below) suggests that Fernandez has an upside (at least when he was 19). http://prospectinsider.wordpress.com/2006/05/02/off-the-radar/ I recall the Twins getting little known David Arias from the Mariners. Fernandez will not be the next David Ortiz, but he might turn out to be a good player--for now, he provides more depth in the minors to go along with the catching prospect Ramos.
