That's a good question, Big Red. I'd also like to know where everyone has gone.
WH Auden said that all good drama has two movements -- the making of a mistake and the discovery that it was a mistake.

Yes, I too would be very curious for folks' replies.
I haven't really gone anywhere. I read the comments at Twinkie Town or the Geek's, but don't post anywhere. I will miss this site a lot - especially cheering and moaning with you all on the game threads. |

I certainly second the motion to head over to Twins Territory. I made one post over there but haven't seen any action there in the last 10 days or so.

What would it take to get Joe Mauer on the leader board? For the batting title at the end of the year, players can add PAs to get to the minimum (502)
required. Can you believe (if my math is right) that, after going 3-4 with a walk today, Joe Mauer could go 0-35 (to achieve 175 total PAs) and still qualify
as:
#9 in batting average (.436 to .331) #10 in HR (12) #2...#2 in Slg! (.849 to .641) #4 in OBP (.508 to .416) #3 in OPS (1.357 to 1.057) That is pretty impressive!
Go Twins!

Just for old time's sake, I checked the board again and saw Killer4's post and thought I would try to see if anyone else is around. This baseball
season seems so different without the daily check of DTFC Twins. I hope everyone is doing well. Crain is not doing well. Put him on Waivers and recall Swarzak
to help with the pen for the time being. Add Winfree to the 40 man roster and call him up if Cuddyer and/or Span have to go on the DL.
What do you think? |

Anybody here excited about tomorrow's game...
Among all the great stories that have gotten us this far, I couldn't help but think of Jan after seeing that Delmon Young has gone .303/.322/.510 since reaching Tom Kelly's magical 1500 ABs. I know it's not great, but this offense could really be something special if they could get consistent production from DY. Here's hoping we can take care of business at the dome.

Though I haven't been an active poster since, well, about 2005, I've come back intermittently when big news or rumors surfaced. Thanks for all the
great years of Twins news, speculation and agreeing to disagree.
I'm sad to see the board go. DTFC rocked between 2002-2005. Minnesota (now Virginia) Frost |
