Macri, 25, has split the season between Double-A Tulsa and Triple-A Colorado Springs. He combined to hit .310 (88-for-284) with 12 home runs and 37 RBI in 82 games between the two clubs. Macri was just transferred from Tulsa to Colorado Springs on Sunday, August 12 and made his first career appearance at the Triple-A level that day, appearing as a pinch-hitter and going 1-for-1. Macri was selected by the Rockies in the 5th round of the 2004 June draft and has batted .285 (289-for-1014) in 4 seasons in his minor league career. Colorado Rockies
The Twins drafted Macri in 2001 but he went to school at Notre Dame instead of signing. The Rockies then drafted him in the 5th round in 2004.
